PEMA | Federal/State Levee Certification & Accreditation Webinar

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) is hosting a webinar on the federal and state accreditation and certification process for levees and related floodplain requirements. The session is designed to help counties and municipalities navigate the complex federal and state processes and procedures and leave with practical, actionable information.

During this session, PEMA will:

  • Establish a foundational understanding of levees and their role in floodplain management

  • Walkthrough the levee accreditation and certification processes

  • Review the federal and state criteria and requirements

  • Provide guidance on how to prepare for levee certification and accreditation for both new levees and updates to existing levees
