Goals for the Committee:

Short term

• Form an active committee from interested PAFPM Members
• Establish long-term policy goals for PAFPM
• Organize and run a workshop session in October 2009 regarding integration of state program activities
• Continued advocacy for PAMAP LiDAR completion in eastern third of PA

Mid-Term

• Identify and engage legislative champions for floodplain management
• Engage banking and insurance industry representatives in PAFPM

Long-term

• Enhanced County involvement in floodplain management and mitigation
• Others TBD
