  Goals:
  Short term:
• Assemble committee of interested individuals
• Establish goals & solidify purpose

Mid-term:

• Evaluate current and potential future technologies for possible improvements in risk identification and communication of technical information to stakeholders
• White papers – possible topics: levee certification, Natural & Beneficial Functions, Integration of DFIRM and Act 167 efforts, legacy sediment, Ordinance provisions in excess of minimum requirements,…
• Input to FEMA on RiskMAP initiatives & application in PA
• Identify the user needs which preclude them from maximizing use of available technical data

Long term:

• Increased ability of local communities and other potential users such as watershed groups, developers, etc., to make use of flood risk information developed by federal and local agencies
