We're thrilled to be hosting our 12th annual conference this year in Commonwealth's Capital City! We hope you'll join us to connect with other floodplain management and water resource professionals and to hear from some really amazing speakers covering a broad range of topics such as mitigation, building codes, flood mapping, and flood risk related outreach and coordination.
We have a new conference format this year which includes topic blocks of three 30 minute presentations and extra break-time for networking and visiting exhibitors! Presentations will occur all day on Day 1 and the first half of Day 2.
We will hold PAFPM Committee Meetings as well as an NFIP Training for Local Floodplain Managers the second half of Day 2. You can select to attend NFIP Training for Floodplain Managers for free as part of the conference or do so through the training registration page.
As always we'll be hosting a Welcome Reception (included in basic registration) held in the Atrium for all of our attendees on the evening of Day 1 so there will plenty of time to mingle and catch-up with your fellow floodplain management professionals and enthusiasts! Also new this year is the Networking Social taking place in the hotel restaurant, O'Reilly's, on the eve before the conference begins (September 9). So if you're in town and want to get together be sure to select a registration option that includes the Networking Social.
Continuing Education Credits will be available for Certified Floodplain Managers.

Gold Reception Sponsor $1,200. One Gold Reception Sponsorship opportunity is available. The Gold Reception Sponsor will sponsor the Welcome Reception on the first night of the conference. The Gold Reception Sponsor will receive exhibit space, special acknowledgement during the conference, recognition on conference signage and materials, on the PAFPM website for one year, a one-page flyer in attendee materials, and 3 complimentary registrations, as well as time allotted for a short presentation during the conference.
